Most often, nurses are the ones responsible for making sure that patients are taking their medication and also taking other indicators like temperatures and blood pressure. What better way to get into one of the top schools in the USA than is the chamberlain school of nursing. In this article, we will be discussing everything you must know about the chamberlain nursing school and the process to submit your application to be admitted into the school.

About Chamberlain School Of Nursing

Chamberlain University has a 130-year tradition of training exceptional healthcare professionals. Our roots date back to the Deaconess tradition in 19th century Europe. Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, was educated at a Deaconess institution in Germany and then implemented the principles she learned in the practice of nursing.

In 1889, a pastor of evangelical faith located in St. Louis, Missouri was able to propose the establishment of healthcare services that were based upon the Deaconess model to cater to the requirements of the local population. The services evolved into the Deaconess School of Nursing and then, the Deaconess College of Nursing.

The month of March was when Adtalem Global Education, Inc. (NYSE: ATGE and member of S&P MidCap400 Index) is a global education company based within the United States, acquired Deaconess. A clause in the contract of acquisition obliged Adtalem to change its name for the institution.

Chamberlain is the name that was chosen. Chamberlain is taken from Chamberlain, which is derived from the Middle English word “Chamberlin,” meaning “chief Steward” to acknowledge the vital role played by nurses as the principal overseer of care for patients. The goal for Adtalem Global Education, Chamberlain’s parent company is to enable students to meet their goals, be successful and contribute meaningfully to the world community.
